What began as a complexity-hack next to beautifully screen-printed tapestries made in India, became an hobby and an obsession for which I have not yet found an application outside interior decoration. With each one I try to let the colors meld differently and try a new mandala pattern - keeping a detailed archive of what I do with each one. However, I find so much joy in making them and make so many so quickly that I do not keep any after photographing. While a simple act and seemingly irrelevant practice, I feel this venture most accurately speaks to my manifesto of letting go of ego, playfully experimenting at a slow unforced and unrushed pace, and being a gift to the world.
